EME is a private school of higher learning specialized in Environmental Industrial Engineering, recognized by the French Government and accredited by the la Commission des Titres d'Ingénieurs
Located in the Campus of Kerlann in the very heart of Brittany, EME is 10 minute drive away from Rennes (population: 215 000) and 2 hour train away from Paris.
Our mission is to develop the knowledge and environmental engineering skills of our students and prepare them to respond to ever changing environmental issues and help shape a sustainable future.
Through classroom studies and practical work experience our students learn to communicate effectively and cope with real world situations.
Through studies abroad and foreign internships, EME prepares students to work in an international context.
EME has been awarded an Erasmus Extended Charter and we are actively working on developing our international network of partner universities.
The professional orientation of our engineering program gives students multiple opportunities to conduct case studies, visit firms and gain hands-on experience through internships and professional missions.
A multidisciplinary, broad-based approach, along with close collaboration with local industry which enhances our academic programs, allows students to sharpen their skills, and opens opportunities in the environmental job sector.
EME offers an engineering program that provides students with the skills to succeed and provides opportunities for specialization in different fields of Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development.
EME also has an integrated 2-year preparatory school along with separate degree programs for environmental technicians.
There is an increasing demand for people trained to handle global environmental issues as well as local problems related to waste or water systems and sustainability.
