We are delighted that you are considering joining us for your studies

Each year we have approximately 400 students in full time technical or engineering environmental study programs. Students take advantage of close-knit relations with our staff. No one is anonymous at EME.

Students also benefit from EME’s attractive location; EME is on the Ker Lann Campus (see www.campuskerlann.com) just south of Rennes, set in 170 hectares of countryside yet with quick access to Rennes, which is 8 minutes away by train, and 20 minutes by bus. The Ker Lann campus hosts roughly 5,000 students in its 14 establishments.
The nearby campus cafeteria is open during the school year.

Students can easily live in one of the campus’ 6 residence halls which provide furnished or unfurnished apartments.
Some students choose to live in the city of Bruz which is just a quick bike ride away.

The school year begins in September and runs through June; it is divided into 2 semesters.

Extracurricular activities

The overall idea is to help students in their personal development through actions which require commitment and motivation.

Aims:

To carry out actions for the community, meaning the school and the other students.
To carry out the « Management project » and « Team work » dimension outside of the academic framework, calling upon your personal and professional skills.
To get involved in the sustainable development dynamic as a citizen of the world on a local scale.

Types of projects:

Some of the projects are linked to student life at school:
The student union management/ School Cafeteria/ Clubs organization:
Photo Club, Music Club, EME newspaper, and so on.

Some require collaboration with EME Administration:
Contacts and relationships with former EME students
To help organize various EME events

Finally, some projects help EME integrate and influence its own environment, keeping in mind and carrying out sustainable actions.

EME students can enjoy numerous activities outside of their studies.
Our extracurricular activities enable students to hone their leadership skills, explore their passions and meet new friends.
Student participation in these activities is highly encouraged.

The Student Union

The student union is in charge of organizing most extracurricular events at EME.
The Union receives 70 € for each student enrolled at EME. These funds are used to finance student orientation weekend, the end of year Gala, and other activities.

Eco Challenge Association

Eco Challenge is a student association dedicated to making people aware of environmental issues. Eco Challenge works on various projects, often in association with local schools, firms and governments. The association also participates in the environmental aspect of events organized by other organizations.

Sports Bureau and facilities

Student associations are given priority to facilities, equipment, and locker rooms, which are open to all individuals.
A personal magnetic card* gives access to Campus Facilities.

Exchange students at EME pay an activity fee so they can take part in all extracurricular activities at EME.
