As an EME student, you will be encouraged to consider the option of studying or doing an internship abroad.
The international office at EME will give you advice and technical assistance, and guide you in your search for foreign internships, grants and scholarships, and choice of foreign studies.

You have the possibility of spending a semester or a year abroad of either your third, fourth, or fifth year of the engineering program.

EME offers study abroad possibilities in 30 different universities in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Hungary, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Germany, and Spain.
See INTERNATIONAL-PARTNERSHIPS for details

Students who study abroad pay fees to EME, do not have to pay any course fees in the host university, and may receive an Erasmus grant if they choose one of our Erasmus partners. The student is responsible for all expenses other than tuition.

The study abroad experience will broaden and enhance your knowledge of other countries, peoples, languages, and ways of solving problems.
A foreign experience can give you new insights on how to think, and can teach you how to look at problems from a different angle.
A well rounded engineer needs to be able to look at issues from all perspectives.

Internship periods of three to six months will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a foreign language and way of life, and experience a different professional culture. Students who do their internships abroad frequently qualify for grants.
